PARE Summer School 2021

PARE Summer School 2021 gave me impressive experiment in real life working and the view of creating chance in the work field. In one site there are many elements which has its own role in ecosystem also has constrain and potential that might be influenced. Clearly that there are many aspects of matters in just one development strategy so each field of study does matter for planning co-operation. PARE Program answer this point of difference in work fields into work flow.

As a Thai master degree student in this pandemic joining international study is challenging especially the environment issue which depends on the site’s context without doing site visit understanding the program is the big task but Pare program was well prepared. The orientation days was the good start for opening perception and ice breaking in discussion also the first group work in each country’s river introduction help us to exchange the cultural and society role in ecosystem.

By the Covid19 situation the workshop has been postpone by 1 month later I’m very thankful for the Hokkaido university in their strong attempt to make this workshop possible and resilience with the situation. The lecture went well by the deep experiences of each professors. When each lecture was done we have to make discussion of the lesson as a group work which achieve impressively, in high limit of time with difference of views and skills is the push of our presentation with the good help from the host student.

PARE Summer School 2021 also show me the team work potential, first in field trip days both the professors and the host students work hard on getting the water sample and monitoring us online at the same time. After that the host student give us a brief of each sites and measurement of water sampling and welcome for question and discussion.

It does not matter that we all are from different field, country or university when we all have same attempt to save the environment. In fact, it is the strength of this program that we combine our perceptions into one aim. From my experience of being an architect PARE Summer School 2021 answer my aim in environment in deep scale I got this chance to exchange with my team members from different master degree include chemical engineering, environment development, seed science and technology and me as landscape architecture. We have evidences as the number of the chemistry measurement which lead to bring up the influence factor of the site context between Ishikari River and Toyohira River. After the long discussion and hard group work I also got good friendship abord.

PARE Summer School 2021 takes part to further my future research in many ways of data collecting, hypothesis, methodology especially to summarize the analysis in valid and understandable easily. I recommend to join this as the open experience for more ideas and experiment classroom for real life researching field.
