Expectations for students planning to participate in the PARE program
I expect students to communicate with people in various field in a various way. It is not only expressing your opinion from your side but making efforts with curiosity to know how people speak about and think of the matter. That is, “Listen and see all of the matter without your preconceptions.”
Your most memorable school event thus far
My most memorable event was visiting the people who lived peacefully at a distance from civilization in a mountainous village of Indonesia. I was impressed by their sense of values which is not going after just economic development. (Additionally, the durian I ate there was so amazing! :))
Expectations for expansion of the program going forward
The relationship with Asian countries is becoming increasingly important. I hope the network of students and teachers at universities in Asian countries getting much wider.
