“SDGs Field study: Regional Design in North (NJE3)” was held in University of Helsinki in Finland.

From March 11-15 (5 days), “SDGs Field study: Regional Design in North (NJE3)” was held in University of Helsinki in Finland. 3 students from Hokkaido University took this course.

From March 11-13, the students participated in the lectures in University of Helsinki. They visited world heritage- “the Suomenlinna Sea Fortress”, Aalt university, and so on as an excursion. In these three days, 4 students who took “SDGs Field study: History, Language and Art in Northern Region (NJE3)” also joined them, together.

From March 14-15, the students visited Helsinki Central Library Oodi, Design Museum, etc. Also, they went to The Aalto house. Alvar Aalto was a famous architect in Finland. Through the lectures and field research in five days, the students must have understood about the cold region design, cold region construction technology.
