When I participated in the PARE spring school 2020 in Chulalongkorn University, this is my first met of a diversity of friends in only one program. Many international friends including Thai, Japanese, Indonesian and Chinese had joined in this program with the same purpose of learn. By diversity of countries, background knowledge, religions, languages; we gathered our ideal together throughout the same research objective.
Beyond many hours of special lecture, we were learning by doing in the field trip. We joint in the international exchange day that all of us had enjoy dancing, singing, and playing together.
During the program I found all teachers and staffs always open their mind and encouraged participants to sharing idea without barriers. Therefore, we motivate to do our best and also freely share our opinions to create the small research work with team. Because the program was organized under the earlier phase of COVID-19 crisis, we learned to recognize each other under the face mask cover and had more time to stay together (we called it is a structed together event).
Finally, this program provides me an unforgettable experience and created a complicated connection whether we live in different places or different jobs.
