Program description

During the academic semester, I studied 7 disciplines in English: Politics and economics of Slavic Eurasia (Prof. Shinichiro TABATA), Imperial Russian History Special Topics in Slavic-Eurasian Studies (Prof. David WOLFF), Economic Geography (Prof. Takaaki NIHEI), Sociology of Development (Prof. Masatoshi SASAOKA), Social ecology (Prof. Toru IKEDA), Northern Culture Studies (Prof. Hirofumi KATO), Culture and History of Slavic Eurasia (Prof. Hirofumi KATO and Sergey KUZNETSOV). I studied Japanese language (basic) course  also.

Experiences in Japan

Staying in Hokkaido University in Japan has helped me change some aspects. First, increase of knowledge in various scientific branches offered in this course. Second, harmonious development of my personality as an individual. Third, improving the knowledge of English language, as well as its practical application. Forth, ability to communicate with students from other countries of the world. Fifth, the opportunity to get to know Japan closely: its culture, communicative features, language, etiquette, traditions, etc. And sixth, the opportunity to gain invaluable experience of communication with people.
