Learning outcomes.

During this program, I learned a lot about energy conservation in Japan. And also about modern building structures. I gained new experience and knowledge in architecture, which I can apply in my research. It is especially worth noting Japan’s skills in secondary production and energy conservation. These are very relevant topics today.

Experience in Japan.

Actual topics in modern architecture. Therefore, the research center aroused my delight. By simple means, architects created a unique building. Use of ice as a room cooling system in summer. It is simple and ingenious. It is also worth noting the atrium through which light enters the room. It has a triangular shape, which allows you to create a balance between structure and lighting. In construction, modern technologies were applied.

Influence on future career goals and choices

Participating in RJE3 program gave me a lot of information about similarities and differences of Russia and Japan in different aspects. For example, architecture, culture, conservation ecology, economic and political development. Now I understand that living in Russia we don’t really know important things about Japan. The same situation is in Japan – people doesn’t know real thing about Russia. Just some common, as it is cold there, there are a lot of bears and so on. RJE3 program helped me, my Russian and Japanese colleagues to understand each other. I hope that in my future career we will have collaboration with Japanese colleagues and exchange information and experience.
